How Do I Monetize My Blog?
Once you have been blogging for a few months and have built up some traffic, it's time to start monetizing! And there are plenty of ways to monetize your blog.
Display Advertising
One of the most popular ways to monetize your blog is through display advertising.
Website income is generally measured by RPM or “Revenue Per 1,000 impressions”. An impression on a site is simply someone viewing a page once. An RPM of $50 means you earn $50 per 1,000 website views.
You can expect to earn anywhere from $5 to $50 per 1,000 views through display advertising.
The amount of income you generate through display advertising will vary from niche to niche. So it's important that you do your research before starting your blog—to ensure that you will be able to turn a profit!

7. Start a Dropshipping Business
What is dropshipping you ask?
Dropshipping is a type of business model that enables a company to operate without maintaining inventory, owning a warehouse to store their products, or even having to ship their products to their customers themselves.
How it works is that the retailer (you) partners up with a drop ship supplier that manufactures and/or warehouses products, packages the products, and ships them directly to the retailer’s customer, on the retailer’s behalf.
So, basically you will buy products from a supplier—and sell them to your customer for more than you paid for them!
Drop shopping has become popular over the past few years for it's out of your hands business model. You can buy and sell products without EVER needing to store them at your house or business before they reach your customer!
Shopify currently has three pricing models.
- Basic Shopify $29
- Shopify $79
- Advanced Shopify $299
